Since 2012, with the support of The Coca‑Cola Foundation, the Belarusian Children's Fund built 13 sports grounds all over Belarus. With every passing year we continue to develop infrastructure to allow hundreds of enthusiastic amateurs join the ranks of street workout sportsmen.
For 15 years, the Coca‑Cola Caravan has been travelling through the country during the winter holidays to bring presents and festive joy for children in need of love and care. Every year, the Coca‑Cola team visits around 2000 kids from orphanages and family based care homes.
Over the years it became one of the most loved voluntary initiatives among Coca‑Cola HBC Belarus employees.
Every year International festival unites 10 theatre groups from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine. The unique feature of the performance is that the actors are people with disabilities. Coca‑Cola HBC Belarus supports Festival since 2012.
The initiative does not only give disabled people an opportunity to create and unleash their stage ambitions, but to show their especial view of life.
The mission of the “Child’s Heart” initiative is to save the lives of children with serious heart diseases. Coca‑Cola HBC Belarus supports this programme of Belarusian Children’s Fund since 1996. During those years, over 500 children with heart diseases were operated by international medical team.
As part of this major programme, rehabilitation summer camp sessions for children with oncology and heart diseases are organized. This unique initiative allows children to spend time outside hospitals and to communicate with their peers. The main aim of the project is not medical treatment but for rehabilitation and a chance to socialise.
Coca‑Cola HBC Belarus has developed a strong relationship with the Belarus Red Cross Society. This community partnership enables us to respond rapidly to emergencies by using our logistics and delivery systems to transport pure drinking water to people in need during emergency situations. In 2012, Coca‑Cola HBC Belarus signed an agreement with the Red Cross Belarus to develop our work together. The Coca‑Cola team joins Red Cross Belarus’ volunteers during summer and winter emergency relief operations and participates in first-aid dressing trainings.
