The Unitary Enterprise “Coca Cola Beverages Belorussiya” has supported the International Olympic day in Minsk

Support of sports, promotion of mass physical education among the population, creation of conditions for active lifestyles are among top priority areas of corporate social responsibility of the Unitary Enterprise "Coca‑Cola Beverages Belorussiya"

Since 1994 the Enterprise has been cooperating with the National Olympic Committee, since 2006 – with the Belarusian national rhythmic gymnastics team. The Enterprise has been supporting the Grassroots football tournament “Coca‑Cola Cup. Join the Game!” organized jointly with the Football Federation of Belarus since 2012. Also since 2012 the Unitary Enterprise "Coca‑Cola Beverages Belorussiya" has been contributing to promotion of Street Workout youth movement. As a result, 13 sports grounds have been built due to the support from Coca‑Cola Beverages Belorussiya. It is planned to open two more integrated sports grounds with street workout equipment and a mini-football field in Zhodino and Rogachev in 2018.

Since 2015 the Unitary Enterprise "Coca‑Cola Beverages Belarussiya" has supported the International Olympic day. This year the sports festival was held on June, 2 on the premises of the sports and recreational complex "Olympic".

The main guests of the holiday were families with children who decided to devote a sunny summer day to sports.

Thirty five kinds of sports were presented at 20 locations of the complex, so everyone could choose an activity based on one’s interests. Along with summer sports, winter sports like hockey, biathlon, curling, and speed skating were presented at the event.

Parents and children, in their turn, could get all the necessary information about the sports presented at the event and sports schools available in Minsk. Specialists from each section shared information about sports opportunities for children, so that parents could make a decision on the specialized sports club for their children.

Guests of the International Olympic day could participate in various sports contests and get presents and souvenirs.

Famous Belarusian sportsmen attended the sports event: Anna Guskova, an Olympic champion of Pyeongchang-2018, Nadezhda Skardino, an Olympic champion in women's biathlon in Pyeongchang, Aleksandra Gerasimenya, a three-time Olympic medalist in swimming, Aleksandra Narkevich, a rhythmic gymnast, Mikhail Grabovski, an ice-hockey player, and other famous sportsmen. They dispensed autographs, took pictures with guests, told the public their success stories and encouraged children to do sports.
